Hill to Climb

A slippery slope, when those have lost hope
More than a Hill to climb
Turning first lady into president seems shady
In a debt to Bill for all time

In dire need, of a refreshing breeze
something to change the flow
Instead of blown, she's sunk like a stone
To be more of the status quo

How can we trust, when your husband lusts
And you're willing to look away?
We'll feel the threat of your, government predator
If you let him stray

From email locks to Wall Street talks
The scandals have made us all numb
Like Monica's dress, i feel like the best
Stain is yet to come

And still they are pimpin' Hillary Clinton
Can she Trump when her Daddys' loath?
Or trade common folk for brother's Koch
A Grandma in systemic greed's cloths

How can one stump for an arrogant chump?
We're left with the most hated choices
Stand up and shout, to take money out
So that they can hear our voices

Helpline

Being lost in a valley
With peaks out of sight
Overlooking best views
Require struggle and fight

Experience is reel
No fast forward to skip
Emotions in motion
From taking their grip

Indigestion of life
Tasting all as bile
No logic or potions
Nor prescriptions for smiles

Sinking down in battle
Desperation so deep
Drowning in sorrow
To permanent sleep

Misplaced the key
To an impenetrable cage
Locked up the contentment
And freed all the rage

Single sighted song
Repetitive and wrong
Spinning voices up a head
Reciting hits from the dead

Replace the emptiness of lows
With feelings that were chose
Bravely climb out the abyss
To precious moments not to miss

Cheap Mercy

Why haves and nots
If enough's to be had?
The lack of compassion,
Depressingly sad

Self-worth inflating
With each earned dollar,
Spent on ones' ego
Ignore others' squalor

With empathy weak
The indifference grows
Protect thy castle
Should it all comes to blows

When breaking points reach
the front of the vault
mercy won't be cheap
for those deemed at fault

Money burns faster
When corruption’s the spark
Fuels from injustice
Light up the dark

Unchain

In a nation driven by envy and greed
Lives a society where only a few will succeed
Eager only to educate, house or feed
An entitled contempt for those left in need

The culture of scorn and outright disdain
Keep unfortunate souls locked up in the chain

An unending quest to always have more
Has institutionalized abuse of the poor
Imagine if all of the resources for war
Were used to strengthen humanity’s core

When dealing daily with hunger and pain
There’s no fight left to break from the chain

Importance, once judged by size and girth
Is now solely measured by ones’ net worth
Separated to “haves” and “nots” right at birth
Instead of nurturing all life on Earth

Civilization has a lot more to gain
If mankind is freed from the poverty chain

Save Christmas from the Communists

Onward Christian solders, The time has now come
To reject this holiday as it has succumb
To the Marxist agenda of a liberal Pope
Who dares question our wealth in attempts to spread hope

For you know I will fight tooth, nail and fist
To try and save Christmas from the Communists…

The laze of the poor comes at great cost to us
In the global war against the prosperous
Don’t care if you’re impoverished, look under my tree
The swipe of my card fixed the economy

Imagine if everyone had the same ole' lists
We have to save Christmas from the Communists…

The pain and suffering is easy to ignore
If you don’t acknowledge the existence of poor
Get em to work instead of just play
don’t Rush to help cause that’s not the way

I see nothing wrong with a stop and frisk
To try and save Christmas from the Communists…

No time to wipe anguish off a hungry face
I’m decorating my house so it’s seen from space
The glowing lights washout global despair
And let me enjoy Christmas without even a care

May the ignorance fueling my God given bliss
Be the savior of Christmas from the Communists...
