Learning to Love

Companionship and devotion
With nothing to cede

Comfortable enough
To say what you need

Accepting eachother
Have valid emotion

Unconditional support
A consistant notion

Foolishness happens
But come to expect

The foundation of warmth
In admiration and respect

A match struck to perfection
Lights up a range

Nothing about you
I'd ever change

A recipe for love
Includes a big dash of lust

Brewed for aging
In barrels of trust

War on nugs

They scheduled me one,
Compared me to meth
Not ever a trial
Or even one death

The labels were wrong
Neither weed nor dope
After trauma or stress
I'll spark up some hope

Not a miracle cure
Nor claiming to be
A desire to be studied
Unconditionally

There is no danger
Less damage and wrecks
Not taking a side
But you'll love the effects

Of an open mind
And dulling of pain
Curiosity for life
It's not that insane

Exploring your thoughts
With blissful intent
Create a happier self
Is all time well spent

SHIFT ALT DELETE

A claim to be ALT right
Is just completely wrong
The spectrum of light is white
When colors equally belong

Exist not in a vacuum
Wavelengths do tend to vary
Facts refract in perceptions prism
To ideas that are scary

Adversity towards diversity
Find the differences to hate ya'
Insecurity is not "purity"
Uncivil lies your nature

Neither Patriot or Priest
Protect inflating ones self worth or
Protest to keep privilege
Of hypocrisy at birth

When social fabrics rip
Tearing success up into FAIL
Ignorant passion in fashion
Lead the Fascists to "sieg heil"

Mer and Steve

The flame of Mer and Steve
A match one strikes to achieve
A fire incinerating
Accounts for online dating
Here, now they're stating
In eachother they believe

When she's the feature you make the trailer
If she's sick at sea, become a sailor
Don’t forget to try and read
When it’s time to take the lead
Support and love is all you need
And you will never fail her

When he wants a quest you pick the grail then
If thrown in jail, you pay the bail then
Help him to pursue his dream
And rooting for his basketball team
Squashed with love so it would seem
That you will never fail him

A loving home for spoiled ole Maggie
Eventually filled with goo goos n gaga'ies
Cooking up new batch of Pinto bean
Enriching eachother in every scene
Like Doug and Donna, Barry and Jeanne
Till death means old and saggy

More than engage, without measure
Breaking stress, with the other's pleasure
Not just now and from the start
Always, often speak your heart,
Building together, never apart
And every day's a treasure

She'll be absurd, you be the reason
She’ll get upset, you get to pleasin’
Doesn't matter who's wrong or right
Don't succumb to squabble's delight
Affection every day and night
Will keep your love in season

Fall into Winter but always Spring
Back to the one who means everything
Pieced together, more than whole
Discovering what's the perfect role
Complementing your love's soul
Is where happiness shall ring

Writing on the Walls

The writings on the walls are racist
Deplorably on display
We're lost, the cost, our dignity
Price building every day

More apathetic activism
Locking altruism's key
Self intrest votes close special doors
"Like" common decency

The established meant to stand
Appoints a Cronie Clan for sitting
Unfavorable Justice for The Times
Legitimize crimes while still committing

To grab power by the pussy
Block the other side with hate
Suprise when lies and crooked posts
In fact reverberate

Through the Privileged Problems' Platform
Increasing socioeconomic divide
Destitute pursuit to organize
Fear not Con sealed inside

Hill to Climb

A slippery slope, when those have lost hope
More than a Hill to climb
Turning first lady into president seems shady
In a debt to Bill for all time

In dire need, of a refreshing breeze
something to change the flow
Instead of blown, she's sunk like a stone
To be more of the status quo

How can we trust, when your husband lusts
And you're willing to look away?
We'll feel the threat of your, government predator
If you let him stray

From email locks to Wall Street talks
The scandals have made us all numb
Like Monica's dress, i feel like the best
Stain is yet to come

And still they are pimpin' Hillary Clinton
Can she Trump when her Daddys' loath?
Or trade common folk for brother's Koch
A Grandma in systemic greed's cloths

How can one stump for an arrogant chump?
We're left with the most hated choices
Stand up and shout, to take money out
So that they can hear our voices

Helpline

Being lost in a valley
With peaks out of sight
Overlooking best views
Require struggle and fight

Experience is reel
No fast forward to skip
Emotions in motion
From taking their grip

Indigestion of life
Tasting all as bile
No logic or potions
Nor prescriptions for smiles

Sinking down in battle
Desperation so deep
Drowning in sorrow
To permanent sleep

Misplaced the key
To an impenetrable cage
Locked up the contentment
And freed all the rage

Single sighted song
Repetitive and wrong
Spinning voices up a head
Reciting hits from the dead

Replace the emptiness of lows
With feelings that were chose
Bravely climb out the abyss
To precious moments not to miss

Cheap Mercy

Why haves and nots
If enough's to be had?
The lack of compassion,
Depressingly sad

Self-worth inflating
With each earned dollar,
Spent on ones' ego
Ignore others' squalor

With empathy weak
The indifference grows
Protect thy castle
Should it all comes to blows

When breaking points reach
the front of the vault
mercy won't be cheap
for those deemed at fault

Money burns faster
When corruption’s the spark
Fuels from injustice
Light up the dark

Unchain

In a nation driven by envy and greed
Lives a society where only a few will succeed
Eager only to educate, house or feed
An entitled contempt for those left in need

The culture of scorn and outright disdain
Keep unfortunate souls locked up in the chain

An unending quest to always have more
Has institutionalized abuse of the poor
Imagine if all of the resources for war
Were used to strengthen humanity’s core

When dealing daily with hunger and pain
There’s no fight left to break from the chain

Importance, once judged by size and girth
Is now solely measured by ones’ net worth
Separated to “haves” and “nots” right at birth
Instead of nurturing all life on Earth

Civilization has a lot more to gain
If mankind is freed from the poverty chain

Save Christmas from the Communists

Onward Christian solders, The time has now come
To reject this holiday as it has succumb
To the Marxist agenda of a liberal Pope
Who dares question our wealth in attempts to spread hope

For you know I will fight tooth, nail and fist
To try and save Christmas from the Communists…

The laze of the poor comes at great cost to us
In the global war against the prosperous
Don’t care if you’re impoverished, look under my tree
The swipe of my card fixed the economy

Imagine if everyone had the same ole' lists
We have to save Christmas from the Communists…

The pain and suffering is easy to ignore
If you don’t acknowledge the existence of poor
Get em to work instead of just play
don’t Rush to help cause that’s not the way

I see nothing wrong with a stop and frisk
To try and save Christmas from the Communists…

No time to wipe anguish off a hungry face
I’m decorating my house so it’s seen from space
The glowing lights washout global despair
And let me enjoy Christmas without even a care

May the ignorance fueling my God given bliss
Be the savior of Christmas from the Communists...

Looking for Love

Companionship and devotion
Require you to concede

How vulnerable you are
And what it is that you need

Loneliness builds to the brink
But you bare it,

You know what a feeling feels like
So share it

Unaware if it’s love
Or merely just lust,

But honestly looking
For someone to trust,

Avoid foolish expectations
Of ease or perfection

And the continuous fear
Of personal rejection

There isn’t one recipe,
Path or cause

Except learning to love
The embracement of flaws

Doug "more or" less

There once was a guy named Doug
With a schnoz too big for his mug
And although it looks tacky
When he wears all Khaki
I still want to give him a hug

Growing up in a brook that was “stony”
He must not have been a phony
Cause early in life
He met his wife
and has yet to pay alimony

His driving test was no breeze,
But with Michigan and Harvard degrees
He learned in college
To be an “officer of knowledge”
So now he can do as he please

Just hanging with Zacky and Zoe
And Watching the little ones grow
But when Zoologist or Dancer
Are looking for an answer
Apa’s the one who will know

Lover of fossils and rocks
And sandals worn with socks
Inspired by Muppets
The use of puppets
Is incorporated into his talks

Blessed with a darn good Dad
We all didn’t turn out so bad
Taught that logic and reason
Is “in” every season
And for this we’re eternally glad

Faith in Fate

Pretending we can just be friends
While knowing that is fake

Time with you has become a test
Of the torture I can take

It hurts so bad every time I leave
A wound that won't fully heal

Needing to come back for more
Just to be sure I can feel

Is there no undoing
Once you've mated my soul?

Is a heart already broken
If it’s never been whole?

I wish you knew I love you
But I haven't put up the fight

I’m afraid that I'd lose you forever
If the timing isn’t right

Believing in not knowing
I can only sit and wait

Looking for the stars to align
I have Faith in Fate.

Little Heathens Anthem

Born on a farm, with all the charm
Of the simple life’s true glory
It’s crazy to think, it’s all changed in a blink
So Grandma tell me a story

A chubby cheek smile, that stretches a mile
But don’t look till you see her coming
Without waste or want, always up for a jaunt
And a passion for life that’s humming

The umbrella hats, and love for cats
Are sweeter than a bowl of cherries
If you know the deal, an apple peel
Will tell you who you’re going to marry

An expert in plants, and how to hem pants
Is there nothing that you can’t do?
When Harry got fixta, with a regular shiksa
You made him the happiest Jew!

From making lard to joining the Coast Guard
This journey has taken you far
Cause we wouldn’t have known if you hadn’t shown
That everything can be stored in a jar

And the devil will find your idle mind
So you better start baking a pie
Cause we’re born without sting, and we fly without wings,
so let’s all sing till we die

With a pinch and a punch on the first of the month
Or you’ll always get the hind teat
I had no shoes and complained until
I met a man with no feet

Re-ignition

You took over that cave
To shelter from storm
You started that fire
To try to stay warm

Tired of gathering
You planted some seeds
Hunted no more,
Developed new breeds

You sheered the sheep
So you could have wool
You steered the cattle
So you could be full

So when did you decide
You need more than your neighbors
Hoarding your goods,
And doing no favors

Happiness isn’t measured by
Wealth alone
Or how many envy
The items you own

It used to be survival
Was enough to stay pleased
now you hunt feelings
that’s only a tease

a cave of despair
is where you’ll reside
until the flame of survival
reignites inside

Emperor's Apology

Forgiveness is a virtue
diversion can make you forget
and if sorry has a limit
I haven't reached mine yet

I swear that you can trust us
even though we fail
to be Fair and Balanced
in any scope or scale

We're here to serve a purpose
sell the other side of truth
skew stories in our favor
regardless of the proof

More power for the rich
resulting from my missions;
voters believing propaganda
and owning politicians

I’m sorry you didn’t realize
We pray upon the distraught
My only true regret is
My minions getting caught

Doctors without Orders

Millionaire’s
Will you dare
To help your fellow man
You hear the wailing
But seem to be failing
To lend a helping hand

The only  prize
For selling lies
That lead to gaining wealth
Others suffer
While you’re the buffer
That keeps the Care from Health

Doctors will make
Prescriptions to take
But we all need to pay attention
Cause It’s clear to see
That drugs aren’t free
No interest paid in Prevention

Why is it lost
That there is a cost
Too great for most to bare
And it’s got to be tough
To determine what’s enough
profit for holders to share

Doesn’t it seem wrong
to be waiting so long
Millions of excuses insure
Congress’ biggest sin;
Taking death money to win
Instead of conjuring a cure

So Millionaire’s
Will you dare
To help your fellow man
You hear the wailing
But seem to be failing
To lend a helping hand

Truth about Lies

You can live em
You can tell em
You can buy em
You can sell em

When you need em
They work nice
Until you have to
Pay the price

It’s not fuzzy
And can be cold
When the time comes
For it to be told

Just as simple
Not little or white
Deep down inside
You know what is right

Fury to the Fuehrer

When Egypt starts to fall,
Will terror strike us all,
Will pyramids turn to dust?

Will faux Pharaohs flee
Their mock democracy
When they’ve gone squanderin’ the trust?

You may try to silence the people
Halt communication for a bit,
But once the revolution get a rollin’
Those abusing power should just quit

I may not be political in nature,
But I know one thing for sure,
When common folks are held down by corruption,
The fury will be taken out on the fuehrer

When China Starts to win
At damn near everything
Cause USA has lost its’ smart

We’ll be exporting led
Just trying to stay fed
So learn Chinese, it’s not too late to start

From where I sit the rich are getting richer
Corporations getting all they need
Scarcity is becoming a real problem
Unless the commodity is greed

So now I stand for freedom of the people
not some fiscally righteous spoiled brats
Votes are like opinions never counted
Unless you are the local Autocrat!

Between amendments two and one
Words aren’t loaded guns
When we shoot to kill before we ask

What else can be said
If everyone is dead
And politicians need bullet proof masks

Can famine be discharged with loaded weapons?
Bullets fill the hungry to feed silence
Nourish thought not Military action
Cause real Heroes can solve problems without violence

Congress is too concerned about elections
To come up with any working plan
The only thing they can do is bicker
Instead of trying to help their fellow Man.

If people only leak,
What government’s will speak,
Then there is no real transparency,

The puppets only show
What you’re allowed to know,
Strung without accountability

If you try to questions the leaders,
Or seek answers for those who died
Prepare to have you patriotism questioned,
those who follow orders have the pride…

I don’t claim to know all the answers,
I only want to know the truth,
I pride myself in being honest
And deferring blind faith for proof
